{craft} Fathers Day Trophies

I've gone a little Dad crazy this week with the posts but I promise this is the last one.
This is a little craft that we did last year for the hubs, my dad and the godfathers.
They absolutely loved them and my Dad has his sitting on a shelf all year round.

(sorry for the phone pictures. Last minute job this morning. bad blogger)

All you need:
Cardboard
Glue
Pasta
Gold/Silver spray paint
Glitter
Jewels
Broken Jewelry

Just cut out the shape of your trophy and spray it gold.
Simple glue all the paste shapes onto the card with PVA glue.
Stick jewels and sprinkle glitter.
There's no rules to what you can out in them, this is just what we did.
They can take a bit of time to dry so make it a few days in advance.

Present it to Dad and tell him he's you number 1.

Simple as that.
I hope you've enjoyed the Father's Day posts as much as I have this week.

Now, I'm heading to the park to get some much needed vit. D.
Hello Mr. Sunshine.
You have been missed.
Thanks for stopping by.

{Free Printable} Father's day Room Service card

Nothing says "I love you" like breakfast in bed, right?
So, what better way to treat the Fathers in your life than to give him a custom ordered breakfast. If  his favourites are cereal, tea and toast or poached egg, write them on the room service card below and get him to pick what he wants.

I did this for my husband last year and he loved this. All he got was tea and toast but he felt so special. You could see it in his face. Jasmin felt very grown up having to take his order and make it by herself (supervised, of course).
I hope you enjoy using my printables as much as I love making them. I'd love to see how you use them. You can share your pictures by emailing me or posting them on Facebook or instagram and tagging me.

I made a cute Father's day questionnaire on Monday. If you want to use it you can find it {here}.

Are you doing anything special for the men in your life this year?
Let me know in the comments below.

Happy Hump Day!

The Liebster Award

Imogene over at Little and Big Moments has nominated me for this award. I've been nominated before but never got around to doing it. Imogene has been reading my blog and told me how much she loved reading it (much to my surprise. Wasn't sure who read it. Ha) so I just had to answer her questions.
Be sure to head on over and have a look around her blog. Thanks for the nomination and thanks for reading my blog.

WHAT IS THE LIEBSTER AWARD?
The Liebster Award helps bloggers with fewer than 1,000 followers to get their names out there and helps us promote our blogs better. My lovely readers get to learn 22 random facts about me, and I get to ask questions to the bloggers I nominate.

THE RULES OF THE COMPETITION
1. Thank the person who nominated you, posting a link back to their blog on your blog. (This goes without saying! :))

2. Display the award logo on your blog post or as a widget or gadget. (It’s best to save the image to your desktop and then upload it to your post.)

3. Answer 11 questions about yourself, which the person who nominated you has asked.

4. Provide 11 random facts about yourself.

5. Nominate five – 11 blogs that you think are deserving of the award, and who have less than 1000 followers. (You can always ask the blog owner this since not all blogs display a widget that lets the readers know this information.)

6. Create a new list of questions for the nominated bloggers to answer.

7. List these rules in your post (you can copy and paste from here.)

8. Once you have written and published it, you then have to Inform the people/blogs that you nominated for the Liebster Award that you've actually done so! Provide a link for them to your post so that they can learn about it (they might not have ever heard of it!)

The 11 questions I had to answer were...

Where's your favourite place to eat out?
The hotel where I had my wedding reception. The Devon Inn Hotel. Such great memories and great food.
If you had to give yourself a new name, what would you pick?
This is tough. I was given my name and don't know what else I would be but me. For some reason I always liked the name Jessica.
What is the worst film/movie you've ever seen?
Dumb and dumber.
What is something new you've learnt this week?
That I can make pretty much anything if I have my glue gun.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a groom and work with horses. I kind of came true as I have my own horses now. I just don't get paid to do it.
If you were given 3 wishes, what would they be?
For my kids to be set up for life.
To be in my dream home with no mortgage.
To be debt free.
What quality about yourself do you value most?
My creativity. It's brought so much joy to my life and it's how I express myself. I can turn my hand to pretty much anything.
What do you like to do on a rainy day?
Two things. Go for a ride on my horse and sit by the fire, in my pj's watching Christmas movies.
What was the last book you read?
I'm not a big book reader. Never really liked it and always found it hard to do. The last book I read from cover to cover was when I was a teenager can't remember the name. Do cookbooks count? I've read loads of those.
If you knew you only had 24 hours left to live, what would you do in that time?
Spend it with my family.
If you could be any celebrity, who would you be?
Sarah Jessica Parker because she got to marry Mr. Big and has amazing shoes.

11 random facts about me
I am terrified of spiders. So much so that I had a panic attack when someone threw one at me.
I've been dying my hair since I was 13. Never liked the colour it was.
I have a tattoo on my lower back.
I have body piercings that no one can see.
I love onions.
I hate cheese and onions taytos. They make me want to vomit.
I have more male friends than female friends.
I love reality tv. Real housewives. Swamp people. you name it, I'll watch it.
I LOVE a good cup of tea. Nothing make a bad day better like good tea.
I'm the eldest of 3 in my family but I'm the shortest. I'm scraping 5'4". Barely scraping.
I met my husband in a field while hunting and told him to "F" off and mind his own business. Clearly it was love at first sight for him. :)

I have nominated the following bloggers
Lauren from The Dare Project
Tracey from Love of Living
Louise from Inked Pixie

Here are you 11 questions ladies..
What is you favourite season and why?
Favourite childhood cartoon?
Biggest fear in life?
Name 3 things you can't live without?
What's you favourite thing to do when you have "you time"?
If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be and why?
Why did you start blogging?
What's the craziest thing you have ever done?
Are you a TV or book person?
Have you any special talents?
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

And that's it. So sorry it took me so long to get it done.
I can't wait to see you answers girls.

{Free Printable} Father's Day Questionnaire

Happy Monday Everyone!!
I've been missing alot over the past two weeks. I've just found out that I have gallstones and let me tell you... they suck. I've been in pain, feeling sick, and to make things my grumbling appendix is acting up too so it's taking me everything I have to just keep my house going. I'm waiting for an ultrasound and might have to have surgery. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

But, I'm feeling better after resting up the weekend and I ready to get back into it.
With Father's Day less than two weeks away, I decided to share a fun little printable I used last year with my daughter.

I't a little questionnaire that the kids fill out or you fill out if they can't write. The answer that my daughter gave me last year were quite funny. Her dad was 10 feet 1 inch tall and he weighed 10kgs.

My husband thought it was very cute and enjoyed reading the funny answers.

Just right click on the image below and save it to your computer.
Be sure to print the image in portrait not landscape.

I'm going to have a few more ideas over the next week to spoil the fathers in your lives.
I also have a little catching up to do on some posts that I was meant to do with a little while.

Have a great day!
