Popsicle Stick Scarecrow {Autumn craft}

Happy Hump Day Friends!
I've got another quick and easy craft here for you today. I love working with popsicle sticks. They're so easy to use. Not too fiddly for little ones either. We've made a Christmas Crib {here} using them too. But today we're working on an autumn scarecrow.

You will need:
cardboard
8 fat popsicle sticks
glue
jewels
coloured paper
paint
scissors

Cut a piece of card a little shorter than your sticks.
Glue 7 of the sticks onto the card.
Cut stripes of the coloured paper to look like hair.
Glue this to the ends of the last stick.
Take the last stick and glue it on top of the other at an angle to look like a hat.
Paint your hat brown or whatever colour your little heart desires.
Cut out the eyes and nose and glue them down.
Cut out a flower shape and glue in place with a coloured jewel.
Draw on a big smile and your done.

You can out these on a book shelf or a window sill but I'm going to stick some magnets to the back of mine and put the on the fridge.

Tissue Paper Trees {autumn craft}

Hello Friends!!
Hope your all enjoying this lovely Autumn weather. I'm certainly enjoying the crisp, fresh air the this time of year brings. I've got another quick and simple craft to keep you little ones busy on the evenings. Have you noticed that the evenings are getting shorter??

We love the Autumn colours and what better why to show them off then with a lovely autumn tree.

You will need:
Glue
Coloured Tissue
Drawing paper
Crafty kid

Draw the outline of a tree on an A4 page.
Get your child to tear up the tissue paper. This was the favourite part for my little man.
Then start gluing the pieces to the paper.
It's that simple.

Crafts don't have to be complicated to be fun and if your kids are having fun, that's the most important thing. Right??

Favourite Things Friday

Happy Friday Friends!
The first full week of school is done and dusted in our house and we are all exhausted. My little guy has needed a nap most days after preschool. He just has so much fun there, that he can't handle it. Poor thing. Miss J has survived her first week with a new teacher. She was really scared to see what she was like after having the same teacher for two years running. But it turns out she's lovely. My mind is resting a little easier now that I know she like her. We've been busy crafting and having some fun in the cool autumn air. I just love this time of year. Anyway, enough talking. Here are this weeks favourite pins.

And that's it for another week. I hope you enjoy looking through these. Be sure to pin them if your on pinterest. You can follow along with me on any of my social media accounts {links below}. I would just love to connect with you.

Have a great weekend!!

Autumn Scavenger Hunt {printable}

We love going for walks in our house. And we love doing in even more in the autumn. We all love this time of year and there is so much fun stuff to find on even a short walk. We always end up coming home with a collection of items.

My kids love lists and being able to tick things of their to do list.Yes my kids do chores around the house but this ticking is all fun. I made up this scavenger printable based on things we find around our area but I'm sure you will find most of them anywhere.

Just right click to save it to your computer.

We always have trouble finding acorns around here so when we finally find one, we're going to have cake.

I hope you enjoy using this. If you do use it, I would LOVE to see your kids having fun with it. Use the hashtag #cgrprintables and let me know.

Here's to lots of crisp, dry day and long walks.
Have a good one!
