11 Months!

11 Months. Where is the time going? We are counting the days to when he will be 1 year old now. DAYS!! crazy.

Anywho! Here are the stats.

This little guy is not a photo baby. He does not like the camera. Unless he's eating it or trying to get it off me. So this is the photo I got of him.

Teeth:  We have two teeth and they arrived between 9 and 10 months. Nothing since but drool, drool and more drool.

Eating: No more formula for this guy. All cows milk and loads of food. Can't complain. Must easier on mamas purse. :)

Sleep: Still sleeping like a champ. Had a few nights where I swear he was having a bad dream. Do nearly one year olds have bad drams?? Serious question!

Talking: Loves saying hi and A-dat (what's that?). very cute. Loads of mad babbling too.

Crawling/ skills : He is crawling everywhere now. He can make his way around our house and nana's house at his dead ease. He's also standing up with the help of anything that he can hold onto; people, chairs, tables. Anything. Can make his way walking from one side of the sitting room to the other using the couch and chairs. Very impressive!

Can't believe the next one of these will be titled 1 year old.

Crazy!!

Happy Weekend.

Crafty Creations : Christmas tree book

I saw this idea of couple of years ago in a Christmas home magazine and I loved them but wasn't totally sure how I would go about doing it.

Then my daughter came along and all crafting went out the window. I was so tired busy loving her that I forgot about them. Then I saw them on pinterest and yet again the creative juices were flowing and I had to make one. (dam you pinterest)

Now I will warn you these are not as easy as they seem. I mean their not hard to make but you do need patience and that is something I am sometimes lacking. (I know.. Shock!!)

Here's what you have to do:
First take the cover off the front and back of the book.
Next fold the top corner of the page down so that the top of the page is in line with the side of the book.
Next, fold the same page again to form a tall skinny triangle.
Then fold up the little bit that's sticking out at the bottom.
Repeat, Repeat, Repeat.

And here is how it turned out.

Add glitter and diamonds and whatever else you have hanging around to make it festive.

Special Christmas Delivery!

I want make this Christmas extra special for the kids. Jasmin is older now and is really getting into the magic of Christmas and the whole gift giving thing.

Were going to be getting a few special deliveries in the door this year and I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees them.

We sent our letter off to the north pole this week so one of these will be arriving any day now.

I also found this on Pinterest and I love it. I think every child would love a letter from Santa. I know I would have.
The other think we've done for thew past 3 years is get a video message from Santa. She loves it. You can get these from this website. The PNP - Portable North Pole Console.

It's important to embrace the magic while we can. These years go so fast and I want to hang on the the magic of Christmas for a long as possible.

How to... Balloon animals.

For entertainment for my daughters birthday party I wanted something that people would remember. Something that not everyone would have at their parties. But it also had to be affordable ( I was on a budget).

I found this amazing pack of balloons to make balloon animals but I have a huge phobia of balloons bursting. I know! Your thinking that I'm crazy for sure. But I swear, if I see one of the kids squeezing a balloon it send me into a panic. Maybe I am a little crazy.

Any way, back to this pack I found. I thought I would never be able to do those. But then I saw the instructions.

They were the easiest things to make ever. Not only did I rock with the kids but the Mom's wanted to know how to do it. One even wants me to make them for her kids party.

So here it is. For all you Moms and Dads would wanna rock at your parties.

Sorry for the wonky photography. And I'm pretty sure that you can get those balloons in most joke shops.
I'm going out to buy some more of these for over Christmas.

I would love to see your animals if you ever make any. Leave a link in the comment section so I can have a peek.

Happy Hump day!!
